Abbas Kiarostami's film "Life and Nothing More",  investigates the aftermath of a devastating 1990 earthquake which killed some 50,000 people in northern Iran. Kiarostami had made an award winning movie about two young friends in Koker  willage a few years earlier (Where is friend's home?)  and now in this 2nd part of what is known as the Koker Trilogy, Abbas Kiarostami goes back to the same village to find out what has happened to those two friends!  In many ways this film is the most beautiful and powerful Iranian film.
