Synopsis: A masterpiece film by one of the best Iranian directors, the late Ali Hatami

Haji baba went to America as the first ambassador of Iran to Washington during the

Ghajar dynasty.  After opening the embassy, his efforts to invite dignitaries from other

countries is not successful. After a while the Iranian government can not pay Haji the

needed funds to keep the embassy open and Haji is forced to fire all of his staff and he

tries to run the embassy on his own. During this time, an American Indian who is running

away from the police enters the embassy and Haji gives him protection and for a while Haji

is not alone but this also won't last...
